Okay, so the sixth months that I spent in Providence, RI wasn't exactly the best time ever. But, there were some great people from where I worked (Jake's Bar & Grille), as well as some very heated scrabble games at Tortilla Flat's (a very cool bar). So, it wasn't all bad. I just stumbled upon this unofficial commercial today that Nate shot. So happy to see it - I remember the day well and was one of the finer moments that Providence would afford us:
- make sure to watch in HQ (after you hit play, hover on the bottom right icon - the HQ icon will pop up, choose that) or you won't see the whole video (it cuts). If you get stalled scenes, just watch all the way through and hit replay. I know, I know, it's a lot, but it's funny.
On another note, wedding planning is going along really well, but I can see that it would be easy to lose sight of the real purpose - to have fun. Plain and simple. Not about spending our lives together and that everlasting love crap. blah, blah, blah.
I would like to state that I wish during my walk down the aisle, that the groom will be dancing at the 'alter' and that our wedding 'officiant' will be doing the same exact arm dancing featured in this video (I might even just walk down to this song):
Sorry about the quality of the photo - it's a really old one (note the over sized Kirk Gibson pin my sis has got on - I had to like Lance Parrish and I still have my button somewhere). I couldn't let the night go past without posting somthing about the Tigers come back from 0-5 to win 11-9. Tigers fans have to look on the bright side: 3-10 is better than 2-11. Where is that '84 team when you need them?
And what happened to the wings tonight?
Good thing I have the Rockies, who are on a 1 game winning streak. phew.
